Leeda and Varun

It was an absolute honour to host the beautiful wedding of Leeda and Varun at Le Ciel. Making the most of the glorious Santorini sunshine, the stylish couple celebrated their August wedding in the most luxurious of ways. From the sumptuous ceremony and reception styling to the incredible wedding flowers – not to mention the best pair of wedding shoes we’ve ever seen – everything about Leeda and Varun’s big day was unforgettable.

The luxurious ceremony styling

Le Ciel was transformed into the most opulent of settings for Leeda and Varun’s wedding day. Working with a team of the very best Santorini wedding suppliers, under the hugely talented creative guidance of top wedding planning and event management company Esme, the open air space was turned into a floral wonderland for the big day.

Mirrored flooring panels and a mirrored arch brought focus to the bride and groom, who were surrounded by hundreds of pink blooms and grand hanging chandeliers. The effect of the sparkling chandeliers suspended against the bright blue Santorini sky was truly breath-taking and brought a luxurious sense of occasion to Leeda and Varum’s wedding ceremony.

An unforgettable wedding reception

Sticking with the vibrant pink colour scheme, Le Ciel was once again transformed for the couple’s alfresco wedding reception dinner. Our terrace was filled with long mirrored-top tables, decorated with statement glassware, gold-edged chargers, candles, and floral displays. Looking out across the Aegean Sea, this outdoor setting really made the most of Le Ciel’s exceptional views.

The hot pink wedding flowers

Leeda and Varun opted for an on-trend maximalist look for their wedding flowers. It was definitely a case of more is more when it came to decorating their Santorini wedding space. Gorgeous blooms in an ombre mix of pink filled every scene. From statement fuchsia to soft blush, Santorini florist Redboxdays created a magical, romantic vibe with textured floral aisle runners, arches, and table decorations. This chic colour scheme was echoed through Leeda’s sculptural bridal bouquet – not to mention her hot pink heels.

The glamorous bridal style

Working a sophisticated and timeless style, Leeda looked utterly breath-taking in her lace bridal gown. Featuring a high-neck, long-sleeves and a glamorous princess skirt, Leeda’s beautiful dress matched the luxury vibe of the wedding. Paired with a chic pink headband and eye-catching jewellery, she really was the most beautiful of brides.

Stunning Santorini wedding photos

Leeda and Varun chose the exceptional Lighthouse Photography to capture their wedding and tell the story of their day. Photographers Teo and Anna know Le Ciel and the island inside out, so were able to get some stunning photos of the happy couple in some of Santorini’s most exclusive spots. From the traditional blue and whitewashed buildings to the famous sun set, Santorini shone as the backdrop for Leeda and Varun’s romantic couple shoot.
