Le Ciel was the perfect setting for Emma and Joe’s super-stylish Santorini destination wedding. The cool couple filled their day with plenty of personal touches to really make the day their own. We love the contemporary styling paired with the most breath-taking of backdrops.
The outdoor wedding ceremony
As one of Santorini’s most luxurious wedding venues, Le Ciel’s clifftop location means it boasts absolutely stunning views across the crystal Aegean Sea and dramatic island coastline. Emma and Joe decided to keep things simple for their ceremony styling and let the majestic view speak for itself.
The top of the aisle was framed by four beautiful, all-white floral displays, tying in perfectly with the couple’s minimalist, modern wedding day style. It provided the most beautiful setting to exchange vows, under the Santorini sunshine, surrounded by their loved ones.
The stylish bride
Emma’s destination wedding dress really brought the wow-factor. With a dramatic, deep plunge front and back, and intricate beading and embellishment, her gown looked perfectly at home against Le Ciel’s contemporary architecture. Paired with a loose up-do, long veil and simple white bouquet, she was the most stylish of modern brides.
Contemporary white reception styling
Le Ciel’s light and airy reception space created the chicest canvas for Emma and Joe’s all-white styling. Sculptural orchid stems, lilies and gypsophila filled vases along the tables to add texture and interest without getting in the way of conversation and good times.
The tables looked pristine with freshly pressed white linen, sparkling glassware, statement charger plates and gold cutlery. The whole effect felt luxurious and elegant.
The evening party
The gorgeous couple rounded off their unforgettable wedding dancing the night away with their guests at Le Ciel. The couple had their first dance outside on the terrace, as fireworks marked the start of a very special night. Friends and family joined them to dance to live music before heading inside to finish the party in style.
