Our wedding at Le Ciel on the 7th of June, 2016 was more amazing than anything we could have imagined.
The views overlooking the caldera were amongst the best we’ve seen on the island (and we’ve been to quite a few spots) – it was so picture perfect it could go straight onto the front of a post card – we could not have had a better backdrop for our cake cutting on the veranda at sunset.
The other thing we loved about the location was that it was secluded enough to make us feel completely private as if we had our own piece of Santorini! Imerovigli is also ideally situated in between the hot spots of Oia and Fira making it easy for our guests to access regardless of where they were staying – this also meant that we had an impressive view of the towns with its mass of white buildings from afar!
Communication with the events team was seamless, they were always timely and helpful, and made us feel at ease even though we were planning the wedding from the other side of the world. They were able to accomodate most of our special requests and also expertly advised us on how best to run/plan the evening.
The service was immaculate, from the event manager, to the waiters, to the bar staff, everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional. We really could not fault them in anyway and all of our guests were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Our guests were even given parasols for shade while waiting for us to enter on the veranda.
The food was amongst the best Greek food we have had on the island and our guests readily fed back that our food was amongst the best wedding food they have eaten!
