Stephanie and Vincent’s June wedding day at Le Ciel was definitely one to remember. Celebrating with family and friends under the Santorini sunshine, the day was filled with so much joy. We loved hosting the happy couple for such a fantastic celebration. From the modern pampas grass bouquet to the coolest silver Nike trainers, Stephanie and Vincent sprinkled their day with stylish personal touches.
Destination wedding bridal style
Stephanie was the most glamorous of brides in her timeless full-length wedding gown. Featuring spaghetti straps and an intricately embroidered bodice, with subtle touches of sparkle that caught the Santorini sunshine to perfection, the dress was a chic choice for a destination wedding at Le Ciel. The full skirt brought the drama, while Stephanie’s dazzling hair accessory added a stylish finishing touch to her big day look.
Vincent looked very dapper in his white tux jacket and black bow tie, complete with a contemporary dried grass buttonhole. While he opted for smart black shoes for the ceremony, both Vincent and Stephanie couldn’t resist switching things up for the reception. Here they swapped their ceremony shoes for matching pairs of silver Nike trainers. Perfect for hitting the dancefloor later.
The wedding flowers
A destination wedding gives you a chance to be really creative with your wedding flowers. The breath-taking backdrop of our rugged Santorini coastline was framed perfectly with Stephanie and Vincent’s softly textured aisle arrangements. Mixing the softest ornamental grasses in white, neutrals and darker shades, the aisle was brought to life with playful texture and volume.
The relaxed vibe was carried through the whole day, with both Stephanie’s wedding bouquet and the couple’s reception table arrangements. These both featured delicate pampas grass, dried ferns and dried gypsophila in warming shades, alongside a pop of turquoise.
The Santorini wedding reception
Stephanie and Vincent made the most of Le Ciel’s expansive indoor space to party in style at their evening reception. From the emotional speeches which saw the couple and their guests go from uncontrollable laughter to happy tears, through to the bouquet toss, Le Ciel’s elegant reception room set the scene for a fabulous evening.
As the sun set, Stephanie, Vincent and their guests took to the dancefloor to dance the night away. The perfect way to wrap up a truly special Santorini wedding.
