It was a pleasure to welcome Emily, Omar and their guests to Le Ciel for their beautiful spring wedding. Everything about this day was incredibly chic and stylish. Emily’s glamorous bridal style
We adore everything about Emily’s glamorous wedding day style. Her sensational dress featured a sweetheart neckline and bodice, along with a thigh high split for a touch of drama. Paired with a long veil, platform heels, and with her hair worn in loose waves, Emily channelled an old-school Hollywood vibe. Her simple all-white gypsophila and rose wedding bouquet really pulled the whole look together perfectly.
Omar looked fabulous in his black tux with black bow tie. The white orchid buttonhole added a modern feel to this timeless look.
Adding a splash of colour, the bridesmaids wore sleek, sage green satin dresses, while the page boys and ushers opted for matching ties.
The romantic Santorini wedding ceremony
The Santorini sunshine was shining for Emily and Omar’s May wedding. With clear skies across the island’s dramatic coastline and glistening sea, it was the most romantic setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The ceremony space was decorated with four large, all-white floral displays, in a stylish texture-clash of gypsophila, hydrangeas, roses and orchids. The overall effect was contemporary and effortlessly elegant.
Surrounded by their loved ones, Emily and Omar read personalised vows to each other during the intimate ceremony. Once the ‘I do’s were done, the happy couple were showered with white rose petal confetti by their guests.
Making the most of the breathtaking views across Santorini, the alfresco ceremony was followed by an open-air champagne drinks reception on the terrace. Guests were treated to slices of traditional Greek spanakopita while enjoying the sunshine.
The monochrome reception styling
The couple hosted their wedding breakfast inside Le Ciel’s restaurant. The minimalist décor, paired with huge windows showcasing the Greek island landscape, offered a sense of ‘bringing the outside in’. Just look at those views!
Long tables were dressed with crisp white linen and sparkling glassware, creating a luxurious feel. Wine glasses were tied with a thin black ribbon bow, while Emily and Omar opted for statement black cutlery to tie in with their monochrome reception theme.
The tables were lined with clear vases with single stem white roses, and flickering candles inside small hurricane vases.
As a fantastic personal touch, Emily and Omar laid out disposable cameras for their guests to help themselves too. Along with the cute sign ‘Can’t wait to see what develops’ the bride and groom included a fun ‘I spy’ sheet of photo ideas for their guests to capture.
The Santorini destination wedding photos

The traditional Greek whitewashed buildings and blue-domed churches made a stunning backdrop for their newlywed photos. The couple finished off with some romantic clifftop photos, before heading back to party with their guests.
