We love everything about Bethany and Adam’s beautiful September wedding at Le Ciel. The glorious weather and spectacular views helped set the scene for an unforgettable day, filled with personal touches and a lot of style.
The ceremony
With views out across the Aegean Sea and rugged coastline, there’s no better place to get married in Santorini than Le Ciel. Bethany and Adam chose a classic white and green floral display and soft white gauze to dress up the ceremony space. This provided the perfect focal point for the couple to share their vows. Pretty parasols were laid out for guests who wanted some shade – a really thoughtful touch.
White and gold reception styling
Bethany and Adam’s wedding reception at Le Ciel was a masterclass in modern style. From the crisp white linen and sparkling glassware to the chic gold-edged plates, everything looked and felt utterly luxurious. Elevated floral displays in white and green – to tie in with the ceremony flowers – really brought a sense of occasion. The personalised heart place names added a sweet personal touch. We love the framed mirror seating plan, which worked perfectly in Le Ciel’s glamorous reception space.
The incredible food
Food is our passion at Le Ciel, and we worked with Bethany and Adam to create a Greek feast using the very best local ingredients. Chicken citrus salad with grilled Haloumi cheese, beef fillet and grilled ‘Manouri’ cheese with honey, and pepper-crusted ribeye steak with strawberry coulis, lime, spearmint and ginger were all on the delicious wedding menu. Absolute foodie heaven!
All the little touches
We love to see how our couples choose to personalise their wedding day at Le Ciel, and Bethany and Adam made sure their wedding was one to remember. ‘Treat Yourself’ donut walls, cupcakes and delicate cake pops with gold detailing? What’s not to love?
Bethany and Adam opted for a quirky take on the traditional guest book. They set up a fun ‘Selfie Station’ where guests were encouraged to snap photos of themselves using the instant camera and props, then add it to the guest book along with a handwritten message.
Guests got to enjoy the stunning panoramic view, glass of champagne in hand, while a saxophonist provided the music. The couple even made sure a gelato trike was on hand to cool guests down.
The light up ‘Mr and Mrs Wright’ letters were such a fun touch for the reception. They also provided plenty of posing opportunities!
